Gary Lee McNeely

     Gary Lee “Gig” McNeely, 67, of Mt. Nebo, WV passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023 in the WVU-Medicine Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown.  Born September 18, 1955 at Charleston, he was a son of the late Robert Glenn and Sylvia Gaye Hill McNeely.

     He was a retired underground coal miner and a member of the UMWA.

     Survivors include his wife, Debra Lynn Keeney McNeely; three daughters, Jennifer Shanklin, Traci McNeely, and Jessica McNeely, all of Charleston; seven grandchildren, Seth Shanklin, Zack Shanklin, Jordan Shanklin, Paige McNeely, Alex McNeely, Gavin McNeely, and Carter Ingram; and several great grandchildren.

     It was his wish to be cremated and no services will be held at this time.

     White Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
