Alfred E. Ward

     Alfred E. Ward, 59, of Craigsville, WV passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown.  Born October 8, 1962 at Summersville, he was a son of Oliver E. Ward of Craigsville and the late Rita A. Thompson Ward.  He was also preceded in death by his nephew, Robert E. Ward and his niece, Rachel Alice Peyatt.

     He was an honorary firefighter with the CBC Fire Department at Craigsville and he loved spending time there.

     Surviving besides his father are two brothers, Randy (Betty) Ward of Craigsville and Joe Ward of Craigsville, two sisters, Wanda Williams of Craigsville and Connie (Chris) Johnson of Craigsville; several nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

     Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the Mountain Trail Cemetery at Craigsville with Pastor James Lynch officiating.  Interment will follow under the direction of the White Funeral Home at Summersville.
