Anna Lee Boone

     Anna Lee Boone, 90, of Nettie went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.  Born March 15, 1931 in Quinwood, WV she was a daughter of the late Henry and Estie Arbaugh McClung.  She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Harold McClung, Lantie McClung, and Mamie Helen O’Dell.

      She was a member of the Downtain Chapel United Methodist Church, was the sextant of the church cemetery for many years, and was former deputy assessor in Nicholas County.  She was a very loving mother and loved to attend church, revivals, and being with her church family.

      Survivors include one son, Flavie (Crista) Boyce of Nettie; two grandchildren, Derek (Lisa) Boyce and Carissa (David) Bennett; four great grandchildren, Perri, Abel, Eli, and Maggie.

      Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at the Fairview Cemetery in Nettie with Pastors Clay O’Dell, Kenny O’Dell and Stuart Stover officiating.  Interment will follow under the direction of the White Funeral Home at Summersville.
