Barbara D. Crites

     Barbara D. Crites, 91, died September 19, 2022.  Born in Summersville, WV, she was a resident of Akron since 1960. Barbara was a housewife and attended Christ Community Chapel – Hudson Campus. She was an avid reader and enjoyed feeding her wild birds and squirrels. She spent hours enjoying their antics.

     Preceded in death by her husband, Harold Crites, and son, Freeman Crites.

     She is survived by her sons, Colin (Sharon) Crites and Jerry Morris; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, and sister, Melinda Bond Robinson (Greg).

     Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2022 in the White Funeral Home at Summersville.  Interment will follow in the Restlawn Memory Gardens at Ansted.

     Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services.
