Barbara Dempsey

     Barbara Dempsey, 89, of Tioga, WV went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at her home.  Born October 2, 1936 at Tioga, she was a daughter of the late Rounder and Belva Christine Fowler Norman.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bill Dempsey; sisters, Betty Goodin, Shirley Ellison, and Rosemary Rosepink.

     She attended the Tioga House of Prayer and was a homemaker.

     Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Paul (Drema) Dempsey; daughter, Carrie Mullens; two grandchildren, Casandra Mullens and Veronica Arnold; four great grandchildren, Mason Mullens, Jaxon Mullens, Maddie Mullens, and Whitley Arnold; her sister, Sharon (Jim) Wise.

     Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 in the White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center at Summersville with Pastor Peter Shaffer officiating.  Interment will follow in the West Virginia Memorial Gardens at Calvin.

     Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.
