Belinda Smallwood

     Belinda Smallwood, 66, of Summersville, WV passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026 in the WVU-Medicine Thomas Memorial Hospital at South Charleston.  Born March 16, 1960 in Cleveland, OH, she was a daughter of the late Robert E. and Emma Jean Wood Graham.  She was also preceded in death by two brothers, David Graham and Edsel Graham.

     She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church at Persinger, a former cook at Summersville Memorial Hospital and Friends R Fun, and was secretary for Person County Schools in North Carolina.  She loved children and being around them.

     Survivors include her husband of forty-four happy years, Gene Smallwood; one daughter, Alicia Jean Drennen of Summersville; one granddaughter, Patricia Jean (PJ) Foster; siblings, Ruth (Dan) Cochran, Regina (Johnnie) Darnell; mother-in-love, Edith Smallwood; sister-in-laws, Letha Graham and Donna Montecalvo; one God son, Nathan McLean; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

     Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026 in the White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Summersville with Pastor Shawn Bragg officiating. 

     Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday one-hour prior to the funeral services.
