Betty Frances Legg, 86, of Summersville, WV passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 in the Summersville Healthcare Center. Born April 12, 1939 at Gad, she was a daughter of the late Okey Russell and Goldie Copenhaver Stover. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Legg.
She attended the Dotson-Simpson United Methodist Church at Summersville, was a former teacher’s aide for the Nicholas County Board of Education, loved to work in her garden and flower beds, and she was a homemaker.
Survivors her daughter, Jennifer (Brian) Randolph; her son, Jonathan (Jennifer) Legg; siblings, Gale (Ruth) Stover, Keith Stover, Helen Hughart, and Harold Lee Stover; seven grandchildren, Austin, Hannah, Rachel, Andrew, River, Rider, and Morgan; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2025 in the White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center at Summersville with Pastor Arnold Nicholas officiating. Interment will follow in the Dotson-Simpson Cemetery at Keslers Cross Lanes.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday one-hour prior to the funeral services.
