Betty Byars Wesley

     Betty Byars Wesley, 84, of Mt. Clare, formerly of Ravencliff, WV passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024 in the WVU-Medicine United Center Hospital.  Born December 24, 1939 at Beckley, she was a daughter of the late Pink and Cora Tolliver Byars, Jr.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Acie Wesley; her twin sister, Etta Byars; sister, Orpha McKinney; and by brothers, Mickey Byars, Bob Byars, and Benny Byars.

     Those left to cherish her memory are:  daughter, Joy (Joe) Day; son, Harlan (Vicki) Wesley; brother, Freeman (Patty) Byars; grandchildren, Jeremy (Rebecca) Day, Joshua (Jamie) Day, Caleb Wesley, and Ethan Wesley; five great grandchildren, Maria, Lily, Matthew, Lucas, and Ally.

     A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

     White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Summersville is in charge of the arrangements.
