Obituary

        MSgt. Billy Ronald Bartley, USAF Retired, age 79, a resident of Prattville, AL passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at his home. He was born in Kentucky to the late Elmer & Emma Stone Bartley on June 28, 1942.

       He served in the United States Air Force and retired as a MSgt. He attended Troy State University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting. He later retired from the US Postal Service.

      He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer & Emma Stone Bartley, his wife Helen Virginia Groves Bartley and his brother Danny Bartley.

       He is survived by his son Ronald A. "Ron" Bartley (Meredith), daughter Debbie Culbreth (Andy), brother Dave Bartley, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

       In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors of Alabama, 515 N Eastern Blvd., Montgomery, AL 36117 in his memory.

      A memorial graveside celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2022 in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery at Glade Creek.  Interment of the cremains will follow under the direction of the White Funeral Home at Summersville.
