Carol Bruhn Stowers

     Carol Bruhn Stowers, 78, of Nettie, WV passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024 in the Ansted Center.  Born February 18, 1946 at Wheeling, she was a daughter of Charles Cyril and Mary Eleanor Hoover Bruhn.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Kenneth Stowers and her son, William Bruhn Stowers.

     She was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church at Summersville and was a retired nurse.     

     Survivors include her children, Julie Stowers, Brian Stowers, Laura Stowers O’Neill, and Kate Stowers; one sister, Lois Grampa; three granddaughters, Megan O’Neill, Emma O’Neill, and Annabeth O’Neill; and a host of other family and friends.

      Graveside services were held at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2024 in the Stowers Family Cemetery at Nettie with Pastor Dave Lancaster officiating.  Interment followed under the direction of the White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center at Summersville.
