Carolyn Lou Ayers

Carolyn Lou Ayers, 72, of Pool, WV passed away in the Peyton Hospice House at Lewisburg on Tuesday, March 16, 2021. Born May 15, 1948 at Pool, she was a daughter of the late James Clinton and Gwendolyn E. Dorsey Ramsey. She was also preceded in death by her son, David Charles Ford and by a sister, Teresa Kay Stover. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church at Summersville and was a retired purchasing manager in the electronics industry. Survivors include her husband, David Grayson Ayers; her stepdaughter, Ann Sasso of Ashburn, VA; siblings, Mary Sue (Elmer) “Perk” Burr of Russellville and Margaret (Douglas) Dorsey of Pool; one granddaughter, Amanda Sasso; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services with COVID 19 restrictions enforced will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021 in the White Funeral Home at Summersville with Pastors Ryan Trescott, Youel Altizer, Allen Donaldson, and Doug Beam officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Gilead Church Cemetery at Pool under the direction of the White Funeral Home at Summersville.
