Carolyn Sue Johnson

Carolyn Sue Johnson, 69, of Summersville passed away after a hard fought battle on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the WVU-Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.  Born November 24, 1953 at Bickmore, WV she was a daughter of the late Junior Journey and Emily Brown Stewart.  She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Dale Stewart, Shawn Stewart, and Randy Stewart.

      She was a Baptist by faith, a former employee of Wendy’s in Summersville.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.

      Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Curtis Eugene Johnson; two sons, Jamie Johnson and Brent (Jasmine) Johnson; four grandchildren, Jarett, Jayden, Kylie, and Jacey; and sixteen siblings; and a host of other family and friends.   

      Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 27, 2023 at the White Funeral Home in Summersville with Pastor Paul Grey officiating.  Interment will follow in the Walker Memorial Park in Summersville.  Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
