Carolyn Sue Morris

Carolyn Sue Morris, 77, of Mt. Nebo, WV went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 5, 2024 at her home.  Born November 29, 1946 at Dixie, WV she was a daughter of the late Garland and Maysel Holcomb Morris.  She was also preceded in death by her son, Carl Anthony Morris in 2016 and by her brother, Billy Morris.

      She was a member of the Open Arms Baptist Church where she played the piano for the services and the choir.  She was a homemaker and loved to meet new folks while traveling with her husband Carl when he was in the military.

      Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 54 years, Carl Morris; many nieces and nephews including Teresa Lanham Harrell, and a host of other family and friends.

      Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at the White Funeral Home in Summersville with Pastor Pat Bennett officiating.  Interment will follow in the Montgomery Memorial Park in London.  Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
