Cecil James Akers

     Cecil James Akers, 76, of Nettie, WV passed away at this home on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.  Born March 11, 1947, he was a son of the late Oscar and Gosha Sergeant Akers. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Edith Akers and by two brothers, Danny Wagner and Edsel Akers.

     He was a retired carpenter.

     Survivors include his children, Robert Lee Deyton, Jennifer Denise Johnson, Deborah Jean Akers, and Vincent James Akers; three brothers, Thomas Wagner, Randy Wagner, and Bill Wagner; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

     In keeping with his wish he will be cremated and no services will be held at this time.

     White Funeral Home at Summersville in in charge of the arrangements.
