Cecil Franklin Woods, Jr.

     Cecil Franklin Woods, Jr., 57, of Summersville, WV passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024 in the WVU-Medicine Summersville Regional Medical Center.  Born September 8, 1966 at Newport News, Virginia, he was a son of the late Cecil F. and Virginia Lee Hinkle Woods, Sr.    He was also preceded in death by two brothers, John and Paul Woods and by a sister, Mary Myers-Taylor.

     Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Thelma “Cricket” Woods; three sisters, Cathy Tincher of Craigsville, Judy (Crandall) Donelson of Enon, and Cindy Grounds of Cowen; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

     Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2024 in the White Funeral Home at Summersville with Pastor Tim Deal officiating. 

     The family will receive friends on the day of service at the funeral home one-hour prior to the services.
