Charles "Jack" Rader

Charles Jackson “Jack” Rader, 89, of Summersville, WV passed away on Monday, June 17, 2025 at his home in Summersville. Born July 30, 1935 at Belle, WV, he was a son of the late Kermit and Gertrude McMillion Rader. He was also preceded in death by sister, Barbara Jackson, sister, Patsie Conley, and his stepfather, Harlan Wilson.

      He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt and work in his yard and garden and take daily drives to the lake.

      Survivors include his daughters, Susie Guinane, Tracey Rader, Bobbi Jo (Stephen) Hamilton, Kimberly Rader (Jeremy Collins), and Patricia Rader; one brother, Bill "Bearug" (Sandra) Rader; one sister, Kathryn "Kate" Brown; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, including Jack McCutcheon, Jake (Josie) Hamilton, Abby McCutcheon, Eli Rader, Ethan Collins, Macy Collins, Walker Ray Kidd and Wrenley Kidd.

      Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 19, 2025  in the Walker Memorial Park with Pastor Dana Gatewood officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of the White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center at Summersville.

There will be no visitation.
