Cherrioll L. Cogar

     Cherrioll L. Cogar, 76, of Summersville, WV passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024 in the WVU-Medicine Summersville Regional Medical Center.  Born May 3, 1948 at Dixie, she was a daughter of the late Lonnie James and Stella Mae Cogar Sizemore.  She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Dewayne and Bobby Sizemore.

     She was a Baptist by faith, a former employee of Bright of America, G C Murphy, and a deputy assessor for Nicholas County.

     Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, David “Rickey” Cogar; one son, Joseph Morris; two brothers, Delmer and Larry Sizemore; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

     Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at the WV Memorial Gardens at Calvin with Pastor Arnold Nicholas officiating.  Interment will follow under the direction of the White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center at Summersville.

     There will be no visitation.
