In celebration of Chris Kemmerling - husband, father, son, craftsman, hunter, fisherman, and believer – after 64 years of life, we lovingly send him off on his final journey.
Survived by his wife, Debby, and children Virginia, Laurel (Jeff), and Grayson (Nikki), as well as his father, Paul, and brother, Craig (Sheila). Preceded in death by his mother, Betty, and his brother, Curtis.
After spending his youth in many areas of the US with his military family, he settled in Virginia where he met his wife and graduated from Virginia Tech College of Natural Resources in Forestry. He was a respected forester, avid outdoorsman, and Scoutmaster in the Boy Scouts for many years. As a member of Jordan Chapel United Methodist Church in Canvas, he enjoyed singing in the choir. He loved his home and life in the mountains of West Virginia. As a loving family man and friend to many, he will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 9th at 11:00 am at Jordan Chapel United Methodist Church on Groves Road, Canvas, WV. All friends and family welcome.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice Care at www.hospicecarewv.org.
