Clarence David Lucas

     Clarence David Lucas, 75, of Summersville, WV passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at his home.  Born March 17, 1947 at Buck’s Garden Nicholas County, WV, he was a son of the late Oscar David and Emagene Morris Lucas.

     He was a former coal miner, enjoyed gardening, and attending church.

     Survivors include his siblings, Wendel Lucas of Richwood, Darrel Lucas of Gilboa, Virgie Adkins of Beaver, Thomas “Buck” Lucas and Ron Lucas, both of Enon, and Don Lucas of Gilboa; several nieces and nephews and his church family.

     His body was donated to the Marshall University Human Gift Registry Program for Medical Education and Research.

     Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2022 in the Woodbine Baptist Church in Summersville with Pastor Carl Harding officiating.
