Danny Ray Dorsey

     Danny Ray Dorsey, 70, of Summersville WV passed away on August 9, 2025 at Genesis HealthCare in Ansted WV.  Danny was born on May 19, 1955 in  Richwood WV and grew up in Buckhorn WV.

     Danny is preceded in death by his parents Brinford  Harold and Flossie Ann Nutter Dorsey, brother Harold Dean Dorsey, and brother-in-law Gerald E. Dotson.  He is survived by sisters Barbara Dotson and Wilma (Donald) Bury, niece Amanda Bury Brown, nephews Eric Dotson, Matthew Dotson, and Ross Bury plus several close aunts, uncles, and cousins.

     Danny enjoyed his family and friends, his church activities, art group, and Kettle Pickers music group.  He will be remembered for his friendliness and love of laughter.

     Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 16, 2025 in the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Summersville with Pastor Butch Collins officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

     White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center is in charge of the arrangements.
