Darius Wayne Taylor, II

Darius Wayne Taylor, II, 47, of Summersville, WV passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at his home.  He was a son of Donna Ellen Taylor Pugh of Summersville and the late Darius Wayne Taylor.  He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Lois Hicks Dooley; paternal grandparents, Elwood “Jack” and Pauline Taylor; stepfather, Joseph Andrew Pugh.

      He was a former employee of Intek of Columbus, OH and was a track inspector for Trakspec at Dixie.  He also attended Day Star Baptist Church in Mt. Nebo.

      Survivors include his mother, Donna Ellen Dooley; three sisters, Tracy Young, Leslie (Michael) Short, and Jennifer (Bryan) Clodfelter, all of Summersville; maternal grandfather, Gerald Dooley; uncle, Walter Dooley; aunt, Monica Lay; nine nieces and nephews, Tricia, Adam, Anthony, Michael, Corissa, Andrew, Bryanna, Tiffany, and Zachary; nineteen great nieces and nephews.

     Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 19, 2022 in the White Funeral Home at Summersville with Pastor Dennis Cherry officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.
