David A. Boley

David A. Boley, age 66, died peacefully at home on Thursday, July 2, 2026 with wife Denice by his side.  David was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s disease in 2019 at the age of 60.  He met the diagnosis with the same determination he brought to everything in his life.

     David was born in Richwood to James Boley and Dollie Underwood.

     He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Denice; brother, Michael (La Dawn) Boley; sisters, Kathy Wedlake, Vicky Boley, and Sis (Bub) Schartiger; several nieces and nephews.

     David was cared for at home by his wife Denice and a team of devoted caregivers.  The family is grateful for the compassion and skill of his care team, Brittany Legg, Jessica Hanks, Patsy Kirkland, and Angelea Paugh.    Their kindness will not be forgotten.

     David’s biggest compassion in life was driving tractor trailer and employment until he became disabled.  He also enjoyed hunting.  David was a Christian by faith.

     Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2026 in the White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center at Summersville with Pastor Bob Foster officiating.  Interment will follow in the Halstead Family Cemetery at Pool.

     Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday one-hour prior to the funeral services.
