Deanna Jean Altizer

     Deanna Jean Altizer, 74, of Mt. Nebo, WV passed away at the WVU-Medicine Summersville Regional Medical Center on Friday, April 29, 2022.  Born July 14, 1947 at Rainelle, she was a daughter of the late Aaron and Pauline Farren Rogers.

     She was a former data collector for WESTAT for West Virginia. She also served as the administrative assistant for Deeken Enterprises in Nicholas County, and was the matriarch of the family and extended family.

     Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Ken Altizer; two sons, Mike (Jennifer) Altizer and Steve (Ginger) Altizer; four grandchildren, Aubrey Altizer, Austin Altizer, Kaley Deal, and Andrew Deal; and a host of other family and friends.

     Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 in the Family Life Center at Summersville Baptist Church with Pastor Dana Gatewood officiating.  Interment will follow in the Wallace Memorial Cemetery at Clintonville under the direction of the White Funeral Home at Summersville.

     Friends may call at the Family Life Center on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
