Delbert Eugene Jarvis

     Delbert Eugene Jarvis, 72, of Tioga, WV passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025 in the WVU-Medicine Summersville Regional Medical Center.  Born December 2, 1953 at Tioga, he was a son of the late Raymond and Beulah Johnston Jarvis.  He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Ruby William, Paul Jarvis, his closest friend and brother, William Dale Jarvis, and Wilma Ruth Brown. 

     He was a member of the UMWA and a retired coal miner.  He loved working on his farm and putting up hay.

     Survivors include his siblings, Kenneth Johnston, Bobby Jarvis, and Margie Williams; special niece, Bonnie (Mark) Young; special nephew, Brian Jarvis; several other nieces and nephews.

     Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 in the White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center at Summersville with Pastor Mike Malcomb officiating.  Interment will follow in the West Virginia Memorial Gardens at Calvin.

     Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from noon until service time.
