Denver Lee Willis, 74, of Summersville, WV passed away in the Peyton Hospice House at Lewisburg on Wednesday, July 9, 2025. Born September 30, 1950 at Lockwood, WV, he was a son of the late Earl Matthew and Marjorie Mae Stephenson Willis. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Richard Matthew Willis, Robert Willis, Virginia Kay Blankenship, and Pamela Ann Jenkins.
He was a Christian, was a retired truck driver with Shelton Trucking Company, he loved spending time with his family, and he loved to work in his garden.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Joyce Gray Willis; children, Erlinda (Sonny) Cossey, Jeremy (Amber) Willis, Mindy Taylor; siblings, Yvonna Taylor, Patricia (Perry) Hanshaw, Hoy (Esther) Willis, Charles (Sue) Willis; sister-in-law, Brenda Willis; special niece, Tammy Ray; special nephews, Bradley Willis and Chuck Johnson; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025 in the Neil Family Cemetery at Lockwood with Pastor Paul Gray officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of the White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center at Summersville.
There will be no visitation.
