Dorothy Marie (Forloine) Halstead

     Dorothy Forloine Halstead, 96, of Summersville, WV went to be with the Lord Jesus on Monday, February 19, 2024.  Born November 14, 1927 at Ansted, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Cora Forloine.  She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Essie Forloine and Helen Cole; her brother, Clinton Forloine.

     She was a graduate of Ansted High School, Morris Harvey College, and WVU Master’s Degree Program.  She retired from Multi-CAP, Inc. and had worked for the Children’s’ Home Society, Inc. for many years.

     She is survived by her special family, Lee and Marie Parsons of Summersville and a nephew, Clinton and Vickie Forloine of Napa, CA; a great nephew, Robert and Kristan Forloine; great great nephew, Kolton; great great niece, Raylee; and her special longtime companions, two precious cats BB and PK.

     In keeping with her wish, she will be cremated and no services will be held at this time.

     White Funeral Home at Summersville is in charge of the arrangements.
