Doyle Gene Bailes

     Doyle Gene Bailes, 75, of Summersville, WV passed away at his home on Friday, April 15, 2022.  Born March 28, 1947 at Meadow Creek, WV he was a son of the late John Billy Bailes and Anna Pearl Foster Bailes.  He was also preceded in death by one brother, Charlie Foster and one niece, Yvonne Proctor.

      He was a Baptist by Faith and a member of the Reynolds Street Freewill Baptist Church at Summersville, he was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Army, and was a former coal miner and truck driver.

      Survivors include his daughter, Joyce Tabb; son, Sherman Conard; two sisters, Shirley (Wayne) Dyer and Margaret (Ronnie) Thompson; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

      Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the White Funeral Home at Summersville with Pastor Arnold Nicholas officiating.  Interment will follow in the Dotson-Simpson Memorial Cemetery at Kesslers Cross Lanes.   Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
