Edith Geraldine Dobson

     Edith Geraldine Dobson, 92, of Summersville, WV passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022 at her home.  Born April 18, 1930 at Richwood, she was a daughter of the late Chilton and Julia Smarr McElwain.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Wayne Dobson and by her daughter, Janet Gerstner.

     She was a member of the Grace Communion International Church at Summersville and was a retired employee of MTA Services at Summersville.

     Survivors include three sons, Richard Wayne (Debbie) Dobson of Mobile, AL, Roy Keven Dobson of Hinton, and Rodney Owen (Carrie) Dobson of Summersville; nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

     Graveside funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2022 in the West Virginia Memorial Gardens at Calvin.  Interment  followed under the direction of the White Funeral Home at Summersville.
