Edra McClung

     Edra McClung, 70, of Summersville, WV went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the WVU Summersville Regional Medical Center.  Born December 22, 1950 at Mt. Nebo,  she was a daughter of the late Guy Conard and Violet Sebert Conard.  She was also preceded in death by sisters, Jane Tinney, Virginia Potter, Hazel Wilcom, Beverly Sattler, and Lilly “Doodie” Hughes; brothers, Bernard Conard, Kyle Conard, and Otis Conard.

     Edra was of the Freewill Baptist faith and attended church services on Reynolds Street.  She was employed at Foodland for ten years before becoming a full-time homemaker.  She enjoyed reading, playing cards with her friends, joking and laughing, and spending time with her family.

     She is survived by Larry McClung, her loving husband of 54 years; sister, Becky (Junior) Bennett; brothers, John Conard, Scott (Louisa) Conard, and Leon Conard; sons, Wayne McClung, Robert (Tammy) McClung, and Jason McClung; grandchildren, Josh (Samantha) Meadows, Zakk (Selby) McClung, Tori McClung, and Kaylee (Dustin) Stewart; great grandchildren, Harper McClung and Lakin Stewart; special daughter in love, Toni Meadows, and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

      Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the White Funeral Home at Summersville with Pastor Arnold Nicholas officiating.  Interment will follow in the Walker Memorial Park in Summersville.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday one hour prior to the services.
