Ellis Carless Meadows, 78, of Nettie, WV went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at the St. Francis Hospital in Charleston. Born June 3, 1944 he was a son of the late Joseph and Lela Ann Whitman Meadows. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Bobby Joe Meadows, Roy Jackson Meadows, and Olive Lorena Boyce.
He was a member of the Ward Road Freewill Baptist Church at Nettie and loved to read his Bible. He was a US Navy Veteran.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Kathleen Radcliff Meadows; children, Keith Edward Meadows of Canvas and Malinda Jean (Chip) Perrine of Canvas; sister, Edith Louise Riddle; four grandchildren, Nathan Andrew (Cady) Perrine, Adam Kyle Perrine, Matthew Steven Perrine, and Kayla Dawn (Tyler) Hatfield; one great granddaughter, Carlie Makenna Hatfield; two great grandsons, Emmett Andrew Perrine and Ellis Asher Perrine.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at the Ward Road Freewill Baptist Church in Nettie with Brother David Hamrick, Sr. and Pastor Justin Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitman Family Cemetery under the direction of the White Funeral Home at Summersville. Friends may call at the church on the day of the services one hour prior.
