Ethel Lula Amick, 76, of Quinwood, WV passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025 in the Raleigh General Hospital at Beckley. Born June 29, 1949 at Clay; she was a daughter of the late Dennis and Bernice Herron McKinney. She was also preceded in death by her son, Richard Amick, Jr.; her siblings, David McKinney, Ralph McKinney, and Franklin McKinney.
She was a member of the Nutterville Apostolic Church at Nutterville and was a homemaker. She was an artist who loved to paint and she loved to read her Bible.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Richard Lee Amick; one son, Bobby Joe Amick of Sugar Grove Road; one sister, Pauline Shumway of Loris, SC; grandchildren, Landon, Cole, Alexis, Elijah, and Paisley.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2025 in the Nutterville Apostolic Church at Nutterville with Pastors Rodney and Wes Nutter officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Church Cemetery at Quinwood.
Friends may call at the church on Thursday one-hour prior to the funeral services.
White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center at Summersville is in charge of the arrangements.
