Gary Dean Brown

       Gary Dean Brown, 77 of Summersville, WV passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023 at the CAMC-Memorial Hospital in Charleston.  Born August 14, 1946 at Lizemores, WV he was a son of the late Ralph and Grace Osborne Brown.  He was also preceded in death by his sister, Patsy Metz and great grandson, Sawyer Dorsey.

      He was a member of the Bethel Church at Poe, was a retired coal miner, a member of the UMWA, and loved to work on vehicles.

      Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Debra Gray Brown; children, Brandi (Jerry) Grose, Fontana Brown, Tammy (Todd) Dorsey, Trina Overstreet, and Charity (Brian) Debusk; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

      Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 in the Bethel Chruch at Poe with Pastors Paul Gray and Oz Gray officiating.  White Funeral Home at Summersville is in charge of the arrangements.
