Gary Lowell Dillon, Jr.

     Gary Lowell Dillon, Jr, 61, of Craigsville, WV passed away on Tuesday,  December 3, 2024 in the Raleigh General Hospital at Beckley.  Born February 26, 1963 at Hampton, VA, he was a son of the late Gary Lowell and Ida Carol Curry Dillon, Sr.  He was also preceded in death by one son, Alex Dillon.

     He was a Baptist by faith, was an Army veteran, a retired HVAC installer, and was a former football coach.

     Survivors include children, Trey (Ashlyn) Dillon and Lacie Dillon; stepchildren, Emily Thompson, Marybeth Thompson, and Katie Thompson; siblings, Lindell (Nora) Dillon and Karen Dillon; three grandchildren, Everleigh, Kaeleb, and Kaeden; and a host of other family and friends.

     Memorial services will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. at the Open Door Baptist Church in Christiansburg, VA with Pastors Mike Johnston and Trey Dillon officiating. Additional local memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 in the Craigsville Senior Center with Pastor Trey Dillon officiating.
