Grace Elizabeth Windham

     Grace Elizabeth Windham, 83, of Summersville, WV passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022 in the WVU Medicine Summersville Regional Medical Center.  Born July 4, 1938 at Timmonsville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Lula Mae Byrd Gainey.  She was also preceded in death by two husbands, Carroll Watford and James Windham; a son, Carroll Junior Watford, and by several siblings.

     She was lifelong homemaker, farmer, and loved life to its fullest.

     Survivors include her daughter, Bobbie J. Carpenter and her fiancé, Tommy Morris of Mt. Nebo; one grandson, Wil G. Carpenter and his fiancé, Alexis Isom of Oak Hill.

     Graveside funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2022 in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery at Glade Creek.  Interment will follow under the direction of the White Funeral Home at Summersville.

     There will be no visitation.
