Harold Grover Bandy

Harold Bandy, 80, of Summersville, WV passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.  Born November 2, 1943 at Winona, WV he was a son of the late Gordon and Idabelle McMillion Bandy.  He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Margie Pike, Carolyn Gill, and Louise Thompkins.

      He was a US Army veteran during the Vietnam War; a purple heart recipient, and was a retired coal miner.

      Survivors include his wife, Linda Roland Bandy; one daughter, Kimberly McQuerry of Winona; one sister, Dolly Franklin of Lookout; three granddaughters and six great grandchildren.

      It was his wish to be cremated and no services will be held.  Arrangements were made by the White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Summersville.
