Heidemarie Fransiska Hyre

     Heidemarie Fransiska Hyre, 82, of Calvin, WV passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 in the Peyton Hospice House at Lewisburg.  Born in Mannheim, Germany on November 14, 1942 she was a daughter of the late Carl and Irma Geiger.  She was also preceded in death by her husband of almost 64 years, Ronnie R. Hyre.

     Left behind to lovingly cherish her memory are her only son, Ronnie M. (Dee) Hyre; two grandsons, Ronnie M. “Trip” Hyre, III and Mason A. Hyre; sister-in-law, Barbara Miller (Jim) Morris.

     Heide was well-known by many in the community as an avid animal lover who was always willing to help an injured or orphaned animal regardless of species.  She enjoyed gardening and loved flowers.  Her family would like to extend their deepest gratitude and appreciation to her beloved friends who visited and helped to make her last moments more enjoyable.  Special thanks to Beverly Miller, Annabelle Armentrout, Becky and Nathan Tharp, Bonnie and Sam Ward, Georgiana Jarvis, Tom and Joyce Neil, Dewayne and Patti McCourt;, and Leslie Mullens.

     In lieu of flowers, Heide has requested that donations be made to the Nicholas County Animal Shelter 229 Stadium Drive Summersville, WV  26651,

     It was her wish to be cremated and memorial services will be held at a later date.  White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center at Summersville is in charge of the arrangements.
