Jack Morris Hickman

     Jack Morris Hickman, 95, of Charleston, WV passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 in the Genesis of Dunbar Nursing Home.  Born April 21, 1929 at Widen, he was a son of the late Carl and Thelma Morris Hickman.  He was also preceded in death his wife, Virginia Tinnil Hickman and by a grandson, Jonathan Matthew Hereford.

     He was a Baptist by faith, was a retired contractor, and formerly worked at Peerless Eagle Coal Company.  He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

     Survivors include his daughter, Joan Hickman; a son, Carl “Chip” Hickman; grandson, John Douglas Hickman; great grandson, Eli Gardner; one brother, Lynn Hickman.

     Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2024 in the White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Summersville with Pastor Danny Richardson officiating.  Interment will follow in the Tinnil-Mollohan Cemetery at Birch River.

     Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday one-hour prior to the funeral services.
