James Lester Hanna

     James Lester Hanna, 74, of Mt. Nebo, WV passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 in the Select Specialty Unit of CAMC-Memorial Division Hospital in Charleston.  Born July 5, 1951 at Richwood, he was a son of the late William Berlin and Mary Louise Starcher Hanna.  He was also preceded in death by his son, Nicholas Hanna; by a granddaughter, and by a great grandson; and by his siblings, Ruth, Linda, and Albert Carl.

     He was a Baptist by faith and was a retired industrial electrician.

     Survivors include one daughter, Ashley (Richard) Rigney; one son, Jimmy John Hannah; stepson, Bryant Toney; siblings, Juanita Cavendish, Bonnie Carter, William Franklin Hanna, Wanda Whit, and Crystal Dawn Easter; four grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon, Mason, and Bella; numerous nieces and nephews.

     Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025 in the White Funeral Home at Summersville with Pastor Stuart Stover officiating.  Interment will follow in the Fields Cemetery at Nettie.

     Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday one-hour prior to the funeral services.
