James Leon McMillion, 77, of Craigsville, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025, after a battle with dementia and heart failure.
James (Jim) lived a full and hardworking life. He was a man of many talents—working as a welder, electrician, business owner, machine operator, private pilot, coal miner, and auto diesel mechanic to name a few—but above all, he was a farmer. James will be remembered for his willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need, always offering his time and skills without hesitation.
James is survived by his children: James R. McMillion of Craigsville, WV; Linda McMillion of Fairmont, WV; Mark McMillion (Carol) of Carlisle, PA; and Jamie Gutermuth (John) of Pittsburgh, PA. He also leaves behind his sisters: Mary Reed (Mick) and Patsy Willey (Carl), both of Craigsville, WV; eight beloved grandchildren: Brenna, Parker, Trevor, Mark Alexander, Jaxon, Ethan, Sawyer, and Collin; and his longtime companion, Janice Willis of Summersville, WV.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Summersville, WV
