Jean Ann McClung O'Dell, 79, of Prospect passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025, at her residence. Born on May 23, 1946, in Richwood, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Homer Holt McClung and Edith Vera Burns McClung.
She was a retired electrician for North Anna Power Station, Dominion Power, and later worked as a maintenance technician for Spotsylvania Vocational Center. Jean always made the best of her years even after she had a stroke. She loved golf, investing in her grandkids, and road trips to visit her family.
She is survived by three children, Melissa O'Dell, Elly Asimacopoulos and husband, Bill, and Chris O'Dell and wife, Judy; seven grandchildren, Colby Thomas and Maddie, Holt O'Dell, Clayton O'Dell, Alex Asimacopoulos and Natalie, Derek Asimacopoulos and Bella, Mark Asimacopoulos, and Ethan Asimacopoulos; three great-grandchildren, Clark, August, and Paige; and one sister, Evelyn Carol Hill.
She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Charles McClung and Steven McClung.
A celebration of the life service for Jean Ann and her twin brother, Charlie will be held at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2026 in the Penile Church at Hominy Falls, WV.
