Jeffrey (Jeff) Hylton

      Jeffrey (Jeff) Allen Hylton, 37, of Pool, WV passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025.  Born July 5, 1987 at Summersville, he was the son of Thomas Adkins and Tamara Woods.

       He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Phyllis Gould; and by his uncles, Roger Woods and Dale Woodrum.

     He was a long haul truck driver and was a coal truck driver working for BAM Trucking.  He enjoyed fishing, 4 wheel riding, and loved his family.

     Surviving are his parents, Thomas Adkins and Tamara Woods; two brothers, Derek (Jacklynn) Woods and Logan Woods; grandmother, Genevieve Woods; grandmother, Helen Hylton; two nieces, Ashlynn Woods and Alleyah Woods; aunts and uncles, Sally Walls, Carol Woods, Brenda Woodrum, Susie Call, Raymond Adkins, and Damon Adkins; and a host of other family and friends.

     Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the White-Anderson Funeral Home in Summersville with Pastor Arnold Nicholas officiating.  Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior from 11:00 AM to the service time.  Interment will follow in the Stewart Cemetery in Clay.
