Jerry Lee Hypes

     Jerry Lee Hypes, 72, of Mt. Lookout, WV entered peacefully into his heavenly home on Sunday, March 19, 2023.  He was 72 and a lifelong resident of Nicholas County at Mt. Lookout.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Jennings and Kathleen McCutcheon Hypes.

     Those left to cherish his memory, his wife of 23 years, Susan; son, Gary Hypes of CO; daughter, Tammy Kelley and husband, Gary of Runa; sister, Ruth Ann Legg; brothers, Fred and Larry Hypes; four grandchildren, Heather, Cody, Garret, and Gabe; one great grandchild, Quinn; and many nieces and nephews.

     We are confident, I say and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.  II Corinthians 5:8

     Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2023 in the Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery at Mt. Lookout with Pastor Mike Long officiating.  Interment will follow under the direction of the White Funeral Home at Summersville.

     There will be no visitation.
