John "Will" Vance, Jr.

John “Will” Vance Jr., 57, of Mt. Lookout, WV passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at the WVU Summersville Regional Medical Center.  Born November 22, 1968 in Marlinton, WV he was a son of Huberta Bostic Vance and the late John William Vance.  He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Landon Vance.

      He was a Christian and formerly attended New Beginnings Worship Center and Beckley Chapel Church in Nettie.  He was a former welder at Amick’s Welding in Nettie and was an electrician for Alex Energy.  He was a radiant presence in so many lives and had the ability to bring joy and laughter to those around him.

      Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Jeanetta Maxfield-Vance; mother, Huberta Vance; siblings, Teresa (Kevin) McMillion, Tim (Betty) Hall, Esther Hamrick; extended family, Cade Alderman; nieces and nephews, Amanda, Shane, Erica, Sara, Bricie, Brady; several great nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

      Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at the White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Shawn Bragg officiating.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 PM to service time.
