Joseph Darrell Hamrick

     Joseph “Darrell” Hamrick, 78, of Canvas, WV passed away at his home on Monday, October 18, 2021.  Born October 17, 1943 at Clay, he was a son of the late Gilbert and Gladys O’Brien Hamrick..  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Carol Legg Hamrick in 2015, his daughter, Cheryl Lee Hamrick in 1992, and by two brothers, Carlos and Charles Hamrick.

     He was a former manager for BF Goodrich in Summersville and was the owner/operator of Central Tire Service in Summersville from 1990 until his passing.

     Survivors include his sons, Tim (Lisa) Hamrick, Brian (Jenna) Hamrick, and Brett (Shala) Hamrick, all of Canvas; four sisters; three brothers; eight grandchildren and a host of other nephews and nieces.

     Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, October 21, 2021 in the White Funeral Home at Summersville with Pastor Gary Carpenter  officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sunset Cemetery at Clay.

     Friends and family may view at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m.  until time of services.
