A celebration of Life for Joseph Allen McMillion (Joe) will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021.
Friends and family will be received at Marist Hall beside St. John’s Catholic Church in Summersville on Saturday from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. The Rosary will begin promptly at 11:30 am.
Mass will follow at St. John’s Catholic Church at 12:30 pm with graveside service at Walker Memorial Park immediately following.
Joe will be laid to rest with the love of his life, Merrill McMillion (Mell). Joe was also preceded in death by his mother and father, Bernard and Jessie McMillion, James (Jim) McMillion, brother, Sue Rapp, sister, James Michael Maloney, grandson, and great granddaughter, Alexis Grace McMillion.
Joe left four children, Robert (June) McMillion, Sue (Jim) Maloney, Alice McMillion, and Bo McMillion. Joe also had seven grandchildren, Chris McMillion, Tara Ferguson, Samantha Thacker, Jessie Maloney, Maggie Walker, Joseph Maloney, and Anna McMillion; four great grandchildren, Tyler and Hailey McMillion, Kelsey Ferguson, and Broodie and Killian Thacker.
