Judith Pearl Walls, 77, of Tallahassee, FL, formerly of Craigsville, WV passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. Born September 3, 1943 at Cyclone, WV, she was a daughter of the late Marshall Hayes and Rosie Toler Perry. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin K. Walls and their daughter, Marsha Denise Walls, siblings, Von Perry, Orville “Buddy” Perry, Bill Perry, and Sherwood Perry; brothers-in-law, Jack Miller and David Spaulding. She was a former member of the Little Union Baptist Church at Calvin, and was a retired teacher’s aide with the Nicholas County Board of Education. She loved her work and always loved being around children. Judy had a zest for life that was contagious and a smile that lit up the room. She reveled in her children’s extra-curricular activities. Survivors include her son, David Walls of Tallahassee, FL; siblings, Betty Miller of Cleveland, OH, Jim (Rita) Perry of Ripley, Darlene Perry of Cyclone, Mary (Frank) Canterbury of Oceana, and Sherry Spaulding of Oceana; one granddaughter, Lillian Lindsey of Atlanta, GA; and a very special aunt, Anna Mae Toler of Davin. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 16, 2021 in the Little Union Baptist Church at Calvin with Pastor Merle Walls officiating. Interment will follow in the West Virginia Memorial Gardens at Calvin.
