Leo James Mullens, 75, of the Craigsville area passed away October 4th, 2021 at WVU-Medicine Summersville Regional Hospital after a short illness.
The son of the late Hatfield Mullens and Eva Bell Kittle Mullens, he was born in Richwood, WV on February 7th, 1946. He lived a simple life, working on the family cattle farm over the years. In his youth, he also worked at a few jobs, including Hughes Drilling of Summersville, WV. He enjoyed doing automotive repairs and working in his garage. He was also a devoted brother who helped to care for his only sibling.
Survivors include his brother, Larry Keith Mullens, of Nettie, WV, an aunt, Deloris Stalnaker Glass of Ranson, WV, and several cousins.
A graveside funeral service and burial will be held at 11:00AM Friday, October 8th, 2021 at WV Memorial Gardens in Calvin, WV for all friends, neighbors, and family. Rev. Rick Childers will be officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of the White Funeral Home at Summersville.
