Louie Gene Rose

     Louie Gene Rose, 84, of Birch River, WV passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at the home of his son in Jumping Branch.  Born November 9, 1939 at Birch River, he was a son of the late Lanty and Macel Jackson Rose.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Carol Rose and by a son, Gary Leon Rose.

     He was a Baptist by faith, was a retired drywall hanger, and loved spending time with his family.

     Survivors include his children, Lyle Tyree, Jeanetta Marie Rackley, Gene Edward Rose, Michael Lane Rose, and Lanty Ray Rose; several siblings and a host of other family and friends.

     Graveside funeral services will be held at 12:00 (noon)   on Saturday, June 8, 2024 in the Rose Hill Cemetery on Mill Creek Road off the Old Turnpike Road near Birch River with Pastor Rodney Jamison officiating.  Interment will follow under the direction of the White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center at Summersville.
