Lovell Harold "Buck" Johnson

   Lovell Harold “Buck” Johnson, 73, of Summersville, WV passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025 in the WVU-Medicine United Hospital Center at Bridgeport.  Born March 9, 1952 at Valley Fork, Clay County, WV, he was a son of the late Joseph S. and Gladys Williams Johnson.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Johnson; son-in-law, Sam Hanks; grandson, Cody Hanks; and sister, Linda Stone.

     He was a retired coal miner and truck driver.

     Survivors include his two daughters, Jeannie Grose and Melissa Hanks; three sons, David Malcolm, Jamie Malcolm, and Steven Johnson; sisters, Judy Landers, Lillian Jackson, and Carol Neal; brothers, Roy Landers, Elmer Kirby, and Charlie Joe Kirby; grandchildren, Talisha Stowers, Brandon Grose, Makendra See, Trey Malcolm, Ashton Malcolm, Jared Malcolm; Preston Malcolm, Michael Grose, and Bethany Grose; several great grandchildren.

     It was his wish to be cremated and no services will be held at this time.

     White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center is in charge of the arrangements.
