Mamie Helen O'Dell MAMIE HELEN O’DELL Mamie Helen O’Dell, 90, of Summersville, WV passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2020 in the WVU Medicine- Summersville Regional Medical Center. Born November 20, 1929 at Quinwood, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Estie Arbaugh McClung. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Garlen O’Dell in 2000, infant son, Bernard O’Dell, daughter, Nancy Rutledge in 2008, and brothers, Harold and Lantie McClung. She was a member of the Downtain Chapel United Methodist Church at Nettie, was a homemaker that exhibited love and patience to her family and friends influencing and loving her family and church members. Survivors include three sons, James (Goldie) O’Dell of Leivasy, Keith (Clara) O’Dell and Jerry (Rachelle) O’Dell, all of Summersville; sister, Anna Lee Boone of Nettie; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Private graveside services will be held in the Downtain Chapel Cemetery at Nettie with Pastor Timothy Rutledge officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of the White Funeral Home at Summersville. There will be no visitation.
